Anne of Green Gables Baby Clothes

For senior project, a class in undergrad where we got to outline projects of our choosing, I decided to design patterns for baby clothes. I spent the summer reading the Anne of Green Gables series, so I based my patterns off of the first book in the series.  I skimmed through the book again to find iconic moments, or plants from each season since nature is a huge theme in the book, to base illustrations off of. I organized those images based off of the seasons they happened in, and then designed typography for two of the four seasons. I then brought these elements into photoshop to make a pattern, creating my own fabric for baby clothes.

Here are some moodboards and sketches to help inspire the project. I had three different concepts but ended up going with concept 1.
